A one-time membership payment of $35 provides full access to the textbook Art of the Hook on the Learn Pop Theory website for a period of 18 weeks. Complimentary Desk Copies are available to instructors (see below).
STREAMING FROM SPOTIFY
PLEASE NOTE: All song examples in the book are streamed from Spotify playlists. To listen, you have two choices. You can:
1. Use the Ad-Free Custom audio players embedded in the chapter pages (preferred). This requires a Spotify Premium Account. If you do not already have a Premium Account, you can purchase one directly from Spotify. Check to see if you qualify for a special DISCOUNTED RATE for students or instructors (see Spotify for details).

2. You can bypass the player using an alternative link that goes directly to the playlist page on the Spotify website. However, this will open Spotify in either a new tab or a new window. You will then have to resize (shrink) the new Spotify window so it fits on the right side of the chapter text.

INSPECTION COPY (30 – day, no obligation trial)
Verified Instructors may request a free 30-day trial membership that includes inspection copies of ALL THREE textbooks on this website – Art of the Hook, Spinning Gold, Vol.1, and Spinning Gold, Vol.2, plus access to all written exercises and ear training exercises for Spinning Gold. Just use the Verification Form below. Vetting usually takes 1 – 3 business days, and upon approval, you will receive an email that contains login information for your new membership. There is no obligation when the 30-day trial period ends.
TEACHING COPY
Qualified instructors who use the books to teach a class will receive a 100% REFUND for their purchase. The refund will be processed after 3 or more new Student Memberships to Learn Pop Theory have been created under the instructor’s name for the current semester. (Students are asked to provide instructor’s name when purchasing their accounts.) If the Student Memberships are already purchased before the instructor’s account is created, there will be no charge for the instructor’s membership (no refund is necessary). If the same text is used in subsequent semesters, the instructor can once again receive free membership access under the same terms.
